God Is Right There With You

It is not uncommon to receive communication from HoldingCross owners sharing with us their HoldingCross stories. Here is one just received from Montana ...

"I received the 2 HoldingCrosses that I ordered. I sent the one that said "God be with you" to my alcoholic brother. When I sent it, I included a note saying "when you feel alone, this will remind you that you are never alone, God is right there with you". He called as soon as he received it and said "I don't know how you manage to find such wonderful and loving gifts that you send me but this one is the ultimate and I will treasure it always"."

We never really know what to expect when we give a gift. It is not unusual for me to spend a bit of time deciding what I would like to give, the details (color, size, shape, etc) and finally, the card ... what do I write? Trying to convey a message can be challenging at times.

The HoldingCross seems to convey its own message. Time and again we are told it was the "perfect" gift. We can never know in advance how it will be received; but, in trusting the Lord with both the giving and receiving, we can have His Peace knowing that God can reach and minister where we cannot.
